directing: directed the connection between the
mother and infant (who were not related)
as this was the key to the success and
impact of the final image.

casting: held casting calls for mother and baby.
Cast 3 different babies for shoot day as babies
could only be on set for very short period of
time and the babies themselves were all very
difficult to work with (all 3 babies demanded
their own trailers, peeled grapes, cut in half and
M&M's with the brown ones removed).

post-production: a window shadow was added
digitally to give the image more depth.

digital workflow: digital capture, optimizing
images, editing, digital compositing, retouching,
color correcting and digital delivery.
