location scout: researched and selected the best
locations to highlight client's products.

casting: rugged early 40’s executive types who could handle
6 weeks on the road under rough conditions.

styling/props: real life expedition look achieved by paying
meticulous attention to every detail.

crew: hired experienced assistants, helicopter pilot, scuba
dive masters, porters and a translator fluent in 7 local
dialects. Most importantly, great guides who could save us if
we became hopelessly lost in the jungle (we did and they did).

equipment: zodiac inflatable rafts, water-tight cases for
camera gear, Avon skin-so-soft for mosquitoes.

conditions: trekked hundreds of pounds of client gear and
photo equipment across rugged terrain, in 102º heat, to find the ideal spots; fjording rivers, braving tropical rainstorms,
leeches, fire ants and sun-blistered feet.

catering: remembered to bring large supply of Snickers
bars and Jack Daniel’s for dessert (we were,
after all, on location for 6 weeks).
