Lorne Resnick Photography - Los Angeles Photographer
creative concept: the initial idea of draping the models in raw
fabric, to target the clients branding message, was
concepted by Lorne to create unique imagery that
would stand out in the marketplace and separate
High Fashion Fabrics from their competition.

casting: casting calls (see images far right) were held for
models that would closely resemble clients target market.

styling/props: we were going for a slightly surreal quality. The
painted sky backdrops were chosen to accentuate
this effect. Flowers were added to each model to
further tie into to the prom/wedding markets.

studio lighting/capture: All images were shot with hot lights in
order to have the shutter speed slow enough to get a slight
blur on the fabric laying on the floor (which we had high
speed fans on) and also to have a larger aperture to
give the background a slight blur, isolating the models.

digital workflow: digital capture, image optimization, online
presentation of selects to client, retouching, color
correction and digital delivery of final images.
